How much are your fees?

Learner-centered and developed by experts, ENGLISH EDGE includes 2x-a-week small group classes (45 minutes each) with a teacher via Google Meet, and asynchronous reading and writing assignments for submission on other days of the week. Monthly fee is only Php 1,500.

How many sessions?

The synchronous classes are held twice a week for 45 minutes each (for levels 9 - 12) and once a week for 1hr and 30 mins each (for levels 13- 17). On other days of the week, the teacher assigns asynchronous activities such reading a book, accomplishing worksheets, or writing paragraphs for submission and checking though Google Classroom.

How many students per class?

It depends on the student’s level and chosen schedule, but the average is around 10 students.

What is the assessment for?

It determines reading proficiency and comprehension plus writing (composition) skills, helping us place the student in the right level of the program. The teacher-administered test takes 45 minutes to an hour. Parents receive an assessment report.

What is the class schedule?

The schedule of the twice-a-week synchronous classes is based on your preference and common time with classmates in the same level. We will inform you of the proposed class schedule after the assessment.

What is the process for enrolment?

  1. Sign up for an online reading and writing / Filipino language assessment.
  2. To the proposed class schedule (given after the assessment), agree or request a new one.
  3. Deposit the appropriate fee to our bank account and send us a screenshot of the payment confirmation.
  4. Wait for our e-mail with class links.
